UI/UX Design

Research-led product design: we find out what users need, then design and test interfaces that meet it.

Common challenges

Challenges we solve

  • Users drop off and nobody knows why

Analytics show where users abandon a flow but not why, so design decisions come down to opinion.

  • An inconsistent interface

Screens built by different teams look and behave differently, and each new feature is designed from scratch.

  • Support tickets for basic tasks

Users contact support for things the product should make self-explanatory.

  • Accessibility gaps

The product hasn't been checked against WCAG, leaving users with disabilities, and compliance, at risk.

How to get started

Three steps to a plan for UI/UX Design

  1. 1Tell us what you needUse the project form or book a call. A few sentences about the goal is enough to start.
  2. 2Free technical consultationWe go through your goals, users, existing systems and constraints with you.
  3. 3Your planA detailed plan covering the right tech stack, architecture, timeline and budget. Then you decide.

UX happens by chance

  • · One or two designers, stretched thin
  • · Research is rare and informal

Usability test the key journeys and share the findings widely.

Overview

How we approach
UI/UX Design

Designing compelling products that power the experience and future of business is our passion. We've tested multiple models for measuring usability through qualitative and quantitative research, and built a framework for evaluating and designing digital interfaces on a robust, state-of-the-art methodology.

Whether you're starting from scratch, redesigning, or improving an existing product, our team brings experience across industries and takes the workload off your shoulders.

Questions

Common questions
about UI/UX Design

What's the difference between a UX audit and an expert review?

A UX audit is a structured review of the whole product, typically combining a heuristic evaluation with analytics, that ends with a prioritized list of fixes. An expert review is faster and narrower: senior designers give feedback on specific flows, content or visual design.

How many participants does usability testing need?

We plan several small rounds of around five participants per user group, fixing problems between rounds, and larger samples for benchmarks such as SUS scores or task success rates.

Is accessibility part of the design work?

Yes. Colour contrast, focus states, text alternatives and touch target sizes are built into the design system, and designs are reviewed against WCAG 2.2 AA, the level most accessibility laws and procurement rules refer to.

Can your designs be built by our own developers?

Yes. Designs are handed over as specifications and design system components your developers can implement. If you'd rather we build them too, that's part of our custom software development service.

How is a project priced?

Well-defined scopes are delivered as fixed-price engagements; when requirements are still evolving, we provide a dedicated team instead. Either way, the free technical consultation ends with a plan covering tech stack, architecture, timeline and budget, so you know the cost before work starts.
